WITSA's policy formulation and implementation advocacy agenda particularly for the G-20 has in a number of ways influenced the way and manner Programos now sees the future and developmental expectations of the developing nations including its domain country NIGERIA provided the forces that be allows the genuine effect of upright, private initiatives fast track the realisation of desired goals.

| Nigeria and indeed African nations have produced eminent scientists in the world of Computer Sciences and these heroes have participated in the development and advancement in so many economies around the world – one of which is Prof. Philip Emegwali, my role model. Chief Software Architect, Programos Software Limited. Mr Amos Emmanuel is an indigene of Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He attended Saint Finbarr’s College, Akoka, Lagos. The Finance and Banking graduate of the University of Lagos also studied Computer Science in the same institution. Currently, Mr Amos Emmanuel is an outstanding multi-lingual Software Developer with specialization in financial management operations, equity research and security systems computerization for more than 20 years. He is an alumni member of AIESEC ALUMNI, NIGERIA (Association des Etudiantes en Sciences Economiques Commerciales). Mr Emmanuel is the Chief Software Architect of an ISO 9001:2008-Registered company Programos Software Limited, an indigenous African Software Development and Implementation company and designers of INTEGRA 2000+ Software, INTEGRA.WEBSTONE Online Asset Management Software that has an African record of computerizing over 100 stockbroking firms in Nigeria alone. Mr Amos Emmanuel who has worked as Head, Information Technology Units in major investment organizations including ARBITRAGE CONSULT, RIMS SECURITIES LIMITED and MAJESTIC SECURITIES LIMITED in the early 90s, and hosted a team of the IFC (affiliate of the World Bank while in Majestic Securities Limited) prior to the automation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1997. He is the pioneer investor and ICT backbone for the upcoming Africa’s first all-exchange equity research portal HighLowAfrica with outsourced research capacities of over 100 African research experts from across the continent - a technology to bring the African markets in one common market place – HighLowAfrica marketplace. |
Other recent awards include the Lagos Enterprise Awards of the Lagos State Government as “Best Software Company of the Year 2009”, Titans of Tech Award Winner: “Best Technology Company with Local Content 2008”, the National ICT Merit Award winner for “Software Company of the Year 2009”, WITSA/ITAN award winner as “Information Technology Champion” and other ICT service recognitions from The Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), ThisDay Newspaper, Businessday Newspaper, Financial Standard Newspaper, and Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.
Mr Amos Emmanuel is married with children; loves football and travelling.
